Scissors!

Well, just a quick post about the kids and cutting. They both love to cut with scissors! This week we went to a parent education lecture at the kids' Montessori school and their teacher was bragging about how Jessa cuts so well! Evidently at school when they do their pushpin exercises they punch out the object and then glue the object on one side of another piece of paper and then the outline on the other side. Well, I guess Jessa then cut hers out, around the outline... and several other students saw it and ran to the teacher to "tell" on Jessa! "Jessa's cutting out her pushpins"!! Well, the teacher saw what she had done and told the students when you can cut yours out like Jessa then you can cut them out too! Ha ha!! Love it! I will post a picture of this soon!

They've been at school since late August with a few weeks off in December, so they have really excelled in the past 4 months of school with cutting and totally learned how to pushpin from school!
