A typical day at 2.5 yrs old.

Well, just for documenting... here's our typical day.

Wake up 6:45a to 7a - mostly waking up DRY!
Wake up and go potty! Most morning we are still nursing for a few minutes, though some mornings the kids forget...
7:30a Breakfast of cooked oatmeal and a grain mixture
(barley, amaranth, millet, quinoa) and Almond Milk
Play time, reading, play doh, coloring, cars etc.
10a snack time. Apple, cheese, "sunshine crackers" etc.
More play time, maybe going outside for a bit.
11:30a lunch-time. Sandwiches, mainly almond, cashew or peanut butter and a veggie.
12:15p "wind down" time... play cd music and light play in family room before naptime.
12:30p go potty before naptime
12:45p time to get in cribs for naptime
2:30p we wake the kids up from naptime (in hopes to get to bed early)...
3:00p snack time with Almond Milk etc.
Play time, reading, outside etc.
5:00p dinner (pasta & cheese, veggies, legumes, bread etc).
6:30p bath time
7:00p final nursing if they ask, brush teeth then feed cats
7:30p potty/story time
8:00p prayers and bedtime.
11:00p we take them to pee one last time hoping they will be dry in the morning!

while they've been a little sick over the holidays they have actually gone down for bedtime a lot easier, there for a while bedtime wasn't until closer to 9:30p... UGH! But since Davis has started actually 'pooping' in the potty they've both been doing their last potties and going to bed a lot easier.

Jessa still loves to sleep with her "bear bear" and sometimes several other little stuffed toys, a small baby, a moose etc. She also loves the new tan fuzzy blanket we got last month when it was so cold. She loves to get under her blanket. Davis has a doggie security blanket that he loves. They both have glow animals that are Dinosaurs and they like to keep the lights glowing on those some times. They have recently requested that I leave the light on... I compromise by saying that I'll leave the door open and the hall light on... not sure if this is a phase or what. But if letting a bit of light into the room calms them down... so be it!

One day we'll actually get the kids transitioned to their toddler beds, but for the time being they need the security of the crib and crib tents. Otherwise, I'm sure they would be bouncing off the walls and into everything in the room! We may try to transition one to a toddler bed first then the other, that might actually help the crazy mayhem that will transpire! I actually think that Davis might be more ready... we'll have to see how it works out.
