Well, Mommy got this hairbrained thought to hide all the pacifiers in the house... this came after a deep conversation with another twin mommy friend who said she just took her boys' pacis away at 2 years old and all she did was let them pick out a new stuffed animal lovies for their crib and then she got rid of the pacis... didn't even tell them about it. Hmmmm... interesting idea... Thursday night Mommy saw that all of Jessa's pacis were breaking so they got thrown out. She gave Jessa one of Davis's pacis for the night but noticed later that she didn't even have it in her mouth...
Friday Mommy decided to just hide them all and go for it for Friday's nap... it took us a little longer to fall asleep, but we did and we slept for a good nap. Friday night it took us a little longer to fall asleep, but we did without to much trouble either. And to Mommy's amazement we didn't wake up during the night! YAY! Now its Sabbath afternoon and Mommy's hoping we fall asleep any minute!!! we're just chattering away hoping she comes back in with pacis... but we also know Mommy has a lot of will power and once again, she'll probably win this battle! :-)
Well, we had to document this, hopefully we'll have a final verdict in a few days to report back...
